The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has terminated Pune Warriors owned by the Sahara group on 26th October, 2013. This decision has been taken by the BCCI because the Sahara group has not been able to requisite bank guarantee of Rs 170.2 crore which was due in March 2013 according to the franchise agreement.
