    The 2013 Nobel Prize for peace has been won by “Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons” on 11.10.2013.

    “Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons” has been awarded with the Nobel Peace Prize on 11th October, 2013 for dismantling all the chemical weapons of Syria. Ahmet Uzumcu, director general of the organization has said that they are working quietly but surely for many years to maintain peace in the world.
