The 82 years old Canadian author “Alice Munro” has won the Nobel Literature Prize for her excellence in writing short stories on 10th October, 2013. She is the first Canadian author to win this award after Saul Bellow who won this award in the year 1976. The jury members said that she is the “master of the contemporary short story”.
