The National Emblem of India has been obtained from the “Sarnath Lion capital” elevated by Ashoka. It was accepted and followed on 26th January in the year 1950 by the Government of India. It is composed of four lions in which three lions are clearly visible from a point of view and the fourth one is not visible. All the lions are fixed to the abacus and in the center there is a wheel or chakra, which illustrates the “Dharma chakra”. It is used for the official purpose and it is highly respected by the countrymen.
