Early morning on 5th September 2013 the Egypt’s interior minister Mohammed Ibrahim survived a car bomb attack. Officials said that it is not clear about the reason of the explosion and about any casualties. It was reported by Egyptian state television that the explosion took place near the residence of Mohammed Ibrahim.
Egyptian Interior Minister Mohammed Ibrahim has survived an assassination attempt on 5th September 2013 , Twenty-one people, including 11 policemen, were injured, raising the possibility that the attack could have been carried out by a suicide bomber, said the ministry. State media had initially reported that the explosion had been caused by a car bomb. Mohammed Ibrahim said the attack, the first of its kind in Egypt in years, marked a “new wave of terrorism.”
