The energy Band is a number or range of electrons that can exist in a crystalline material or solid and is also known as allowed bands, or simply bands. It can also be defined as the collection of individual level of electrons that can surround an atom. The range of energy that may not have in a solid is known as band gaps or forbidden bands.
