    “University Grants Commission” is government organization in India,it was established on December 28, 1953 to coordinate, determine and maintain standard of university education. It provides recognition and funds for government-recognized universities and colleges. Its headquarters in situated in new Delhi. Prof. Ved Prakash is the chairman.
