PCRA stands for “Petroleum Conservation Research Association”, which is a government of India promoted organization. Its main responsibility is to create awareness among the people to save fuel, especially petroleum products. It was established in 1978, it also involved in proposing policies and strategies aimed at reducing India’s dependency on oil.
