A “Mention” is referred to as an update on Twitter which is having an @username at any place in the body of a tweet. All the messages along with all the @replies are collected in the tab called “Mention”. If you add more than one person in your tweet along with @username format, then all those people, whom you have added can see the tweet in their mention tab.
