    A Galaxy is a huge gravitational system which comprises of various star systems, planets, star clusters, interstellar medium which exists in between stars in the galaxy. The word Galaxy is obtained from a Greek word “galaxias” which means milky. For an example, “Milky Way” is the name of a galaxy in which our Solar System lies.
