    The BBC Big Band is a British big band and is widely regarded as the most versatile jazz orchestras in the United Kingdom. It was founded by “Jack Payne” in the year 1928 as “BBC Dance Orchestra”. This band broadcasts its shows exclusively on BBC Radio 2 in the series “Big Band Special”. Currently, there are 16 jazz professional musicians in this band.
