Namasthe is just not greeting word like Hello or Hi. The Namsthe, a Hindhu Salute, is performed by uniting both the palms in vertical direction and positioning them near the Chest. In Hindhu Mythology, it is belived that Athma, the Soul rests in Heart. When a Hindhu Perform the action of Namsthe in front of the Idol of God, it says ” I, a Creation of you, Salutes by Heart to the Mercy Shown on me for living in your World”.
