    It depends how you guys broke up with each other. If it was just because of some misunderstanding between you two and you guys still feel something for each other then of course you should not stop talking, but if it was because of some other reason and you don’t want to be with her anymore then stop talking to her.

    If you guys broke up seriously and there is nothing that can happen now then i would say stop talking with him/her.
