A very first of its type 3D microgravity printing experiment on the International Space Station has been started by NASA. This is going to be the first device which will be able to manufacture pasts in Space. According to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden “In the future, perhaps astronauts will be able to print the tools or components they need while in space.” It is expected that one day an entire spacecraft can be manufactured in space with the help of such technology.
