    The Mail User Agent (MUA) is a computer program which is used to manage and access email of the user. It provides composition, reception functions and message management to the user and is commonly referred as the webmail. It arranges a remote Mail Transfer Agent (MTA) server for the storing the emails of the user. Some of the popular MUAs are: IBM Lotus Notes, Mozilla’s Thunderbird, Microsoft Outlook and Eudora.
