Linus Pauling
eAnswers Team
“Linus Pauling” was the American chemist who was awarded two Nobel prizes in an entirely different field. For the first time he won the prize in 1954 for his work in Chemistry. And second in 1962, for his peace activism. This makes him one of only two people to be awarded Nobel Prizes in different fields, the other being Marie Curie (Chemistry and Physics).
