There are some kind of foods which women must consume at different age levels for leading a healthy life and these foods are:
>> In your 20s: Intake of “iron” is very essential for females at this age. Iron is present in lean beef in high quantity so a person who is non-vegetarian must consume lean beef. Other sources of iron are green leafy vegetables, dried fruits etc.
>> In your 30s: Intake of “folate” is important and it is present in the beans. Folate is a vitamin which women need to consume during pregnancy as it controls the birth defects of a child. Some other foods which contain folate are citrus fruits, leafy vegetables such as spinach etc.
>> In your 40s: Intake of “Whole grains” will help you in preventing from high blood pressure and balance the metabolism of our body. Foods like white bread, oats, rice are the examples of whole grains.
>> In your 50s and 50+ : Intake of “calcium” is important as it will help in making our bones strong. Low fat yogurt is rich in calcium. Other sources of calcium are milk, cheese, spinach,tofu etc.
I think raspberries and cranberries should be taken by females as both of them have very high nutritional value.
