    “Newton OS” is an operating system which was launched by Apple Inc. on 3rd August, 1993. A total of six versions of this operating system was launched by Apple i.e. 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 2.0 and 2.1 and was used on all the versions of Message Pads. It is considered as a low power consuming operating system and was written entirely in the C++ programming language.
