The first mission of India to reach the Red planet has completed 100 days of its journey in Space. It is called as “Mars Orbiter Mission” which was released into the Earth’s orbit on PSLV-C25 rocket on November 5, 2013. It was executed by ISRO (Indian space research organization) and its complete journey is about 300 days, out of which 100 days have been completed. The expected day to reach its destination, which is the planet called “Mars” is 24th September, 2014 and the spacecraft has covered approximately 190 kms so far.
