    The Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award (ABNA) is a contest which is collectively sponsored by five companies, i.e. Amazon.com, Penguin Group, Hewlett Packard, CreateSpace and BookSurge. In this contest, a group of novels and their authors are ranked by customer reviews and a panel of amazon editors. This competition was first organized in the year 2008.
