“Fidel Castro” ruled Cuba for more than 50 years. He became the 15th President of Cuba and was in office from December 2, 1976 – February 24, 2008. He then became the President from 1976 to 2008. He also served as the Commander in Chief of the Cuba’s armed forces from 1959 to 2008, as well as the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba from 1961 until 2011.
