35,000 tax notices issued to defaulters in India

    The revenue department in India issued notices to 35,000 assessed for failure on Friday.This list contains all the names of those people who have to file I-T returns. The finance of India minister P Chidambaram entreated defaulters to pay taxes and seek penalty waiver. This is not the first time revenue department is doing this, two ago the similar letters were sent to 35,000 defaulters.
