    “Savitribai Phule” is widely considered as the first lady teacher in India. She has opened a school in the year 1852 for the untouchable girls. She was born on 3rd January, 1831 in British India. “Savitribai Phule” with her husband “Mahatma Jotiba Phule” is known for educating girls and low caste people in India. She is also known as the pioneer of modern Marathi poetry
