Most of the time people trying involve in the life of artist or want to know about his personal life and that become irritant to the ARTIST. This intervention in personal life may divert his(artist) working approach or destroy his personal life.

Pseudonym AtheARTIST is a crazy and ex-centric new yorker art photographer. He does not want the people to know his identity so he hides now for years behind this pseudonym (just like Banksy).
He is famous for his golden photos, that he only gives out to selected people. There are no public exhibits of these pictures, not even at new yorker art galleries. He does not allow any pictures to be taken of his art. There are no reprints, no editions, no calendars, no posters, whatsoever(He says he wants the relationship between the owner and the art work to be intimate and personal.)
AtheARTIST is a pseudonym because he does not want to be identified. Why? Has he done something criminal like Banksy? No.
He said in an interview that he wants the art lovers to see his works without additional information, so that their experience standing in front of the art work is as pure and personal as possible.
I think he said somewhere else that he truly hates it when people buy his art because of what other people said about it.
so anyways … who is behind AtheARTIST? I have no idea. There is one rumor going around that he is a she who wants to be respected like all the other male artists.
