    “Jakarta” is the name of the city which was formerly known as “Batavia”. It is currently the largest and the most populous city in Indonesia. It was established in the fourth century and since then it is the capital of Indonesia. It covers the area of about 740.28 square kilometers and is located on the northwest coast of Java.
