“Speak To Tweet” is a communication service which was launched during the Egyptian revolution, occurred in the year 2011 to help the Egyptians to stay in touch with people in a condition of the Internet shut down. It provides users a facility to connect with people with the help of a voice message instead of using Tweets on Twitter. In the year 2011, the Egyptians were not able to access the Twitter because of the Internet shut down in Egypt. So, to deal with that situation, the engineers working at the “Twitter”, “Google” and “SayNow” (a voice messaging company purchased by the Google) created a service called “Speak2Tweet”.
