FTP can be elaborated as “File transfer protocol”. It is used to send files and data from one system to another with the help of the Internet. It is a simple protocol, which depends on the Internet Protocol. For an exchange of files, you need a program known as “Client” or FTP Client. It makes a connection with FTP Server and after the connection being settled, the client gets the authority to send the files to the Server. It allows two modes of transfer, i.e. Plain text and binary.
