    The Active View feature of Outlook.com helps the user to directly connect with all the contents and data within their email messages. For an example, if someone wants to view any photo attachment, then it can be done with the help of Active view features. It also gives users a facility to have a direct view of data on websites such as YouTube, Flickr, etc., within the emails. It acts as an interface between outlook.com and other websites.
