Wular Lake is in Bandipora district in Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is the largest fresh water lake in India, its maximum length is about 16 Km and breath is 10 Km. It is one of the six wetlands known as Ramsar site. It also plays a vital role in the hydrographic system in Kashmir as it absorbs huge amount floodwater from the river Jhelum.
