What is the purpose of physical and geological map

    Physical map is used for depicting the characteristics of geography and infrastructure like roads, buildings, mountains and type of soil. On the other hand, geological map is used for showing the features of physical surface as well as the structures of the subsurface. Projection is used in geological map for showing the surface of the earth.
