    “Ubuntu” is an operating system which is based on the Linux kernel and the Linux distribution Debian, with Unity as its default desktop environment.
    According to the latest news report it has been found that Canonical which is a London based company has generated $10,288,472 (about £6.6m) in pledges, passing the record set by Pebble smartwatches last year.
