    Java Trench was firstly known by the name of Sunda Trench. It is having a aheight of 2,600 kms and is also termed as the deepest point of the Indian Ocean.

    “Sunda Trench” which is now known as “Java Trench” is the deepest point in the Indian Ocean. It is located in the northeastern Indian Ocean. Its length is 2,600 kilometers and a maximum depth of 7,725 meters.
