Body Mass Index (BMI) is a method that measures a human body in terms of weight and it describes the body weight of a person as underweight, normal, overweight or obese. It was developed between 1830 to 1850 with the name Quetelet Index. It evaluates weight, height, age and gender of the user and give their BMI value which is generally between 10 to 45.
