INSAT-3D is an advanced Indian weather satellite. It was launched on 26 July 2013 from Kourou, French Guyana and then successfully placed in Geosynchronous orbit after three orbits raising maneuvers commanded from ISRO`s Master Control Facility at Hassan. Now it is moving towards its final orbital location of 82 degree East longitude and is expected to reach its final destination on 6 August 2013.
