The scientist of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, United States has developed a super-capacitor that can be used in cell phones which enables them to recharge themselves in seconds. It can be built into a silicon chip along with the microelectronic circuit as it is made up of silicon. It stores electricity in the form of ions on its surface that enables it to operate for a few million cycles.
