The user is allowed to make changes in any of the articles, but the condition is, it should be an unprotected page. For editing the page of Wikipedia user is not required to first register on the site as it is not mandatory. There are some pages which are protected which means user can only view the page, but still these can be edited by just sending an ‘edit request’ to the editor. The user who makes the changes in the article is named as a “Wikipedian”.
