    The “#” sign in Twitter defines a specific topic and it is marked anywhere in tweets before any word or phrase with no space. It is known as the “hashtag” and it helps to display the tweets more quickly and easily in the searching process. By clicking on this hashtag, you will be able to see all other tweets marked with that word. The hashtags, which become famous are known as “trending topics”.
