    The US ambassador “Catherine Russell” has recently canceled her scheduled visit to Sri Lanka for 10th & 11th February, 2014 as the government of Sri Lanka refused to give her visa on 31st January, 2013. She had planned to spend a day in Jaffna and Colombo and scheduled a meeting with the Women’s Parliamentary Caucus and the women’s organizations around Sri Lanka.
