    “Prasar Bharati” is the largest public broadcaster in India. It was established on 15th September, 1997 under the Prasar Bharati Act, 1990. “Jawhar Sircar” is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of this organization. It broadcasts a number of channels like Doordarshan and DD News and also comprises of all India Radio.
