According to the data released by the Reserve Bank Of India on 21st November, 2013, more than Rs 3,600 crore is lying idle in 1.33 crore bank accounts across India. Most of the money is in a savings account in the rural areas. In this report, State Bank Of India (SBI) is on the top of the list with Rs 714 crore and is followed by the Canara Bank with more than Rs 525.8 crore.
